When to have a baby shower if due in february. At my 19 week us baby hid its genitals so my fam moved the shower to early april after baby is born this way everyone can meet baby too. My shower is planned when i will be 35 weeks along and i would have preferred it much earlier for planning and shopping purposes. The short answer is that there s no right time some moms opt for a shower early on in their pregnancies while others wait until a week or two before their due dates.

Then a couple of my phoenix friends want to have a shower here closer to my due date. The majority of my family and old friends from high school and such are still in dallas so my mom and a girlfriend of mine want to have one there in oct nov before the holidays. I m not even showing yet so i felt uncomfortable having it that early but i m not throwing the shower so i great fully accepted.

We had to pick the date we chose due to everyone going on vacation for easter and spring break. I m due february 23rd and i ve decided i m having my baby. The covid 19 pandemic has led to the cancellation and postponement of countless events from graduations to weddings to birthday parties.

This is my first pregnancy and i m not too sure about all the unwritten rules of when you re supposed to have the baby shower lol. I m due february 7 originally my aunt mom wanted it have shower in late oct. Some couples may not want to have the shower until after the baby is born.
